I got the owner of KPop Secrets, Hana, to make some changes on her blog. This was her reply:
now, since i know your intentions are good, i will act upon it accordingly. let’s compensate. we’re all educated human beings here so let’s act like it. i will remind the submitters not to include other fanclub names in their secrets so as not to ignite fan wars. also i we (my admins and i) will be more strict about screening secrets. that’s everything i can do for now. if you want the blog deleted, then that just ain’t happening (not now, at least).
Hopefully, Hana telling the submitters to not include fanclub names and being more strict about what gets posted will help make her site more decent and less hateful. I’m happy that I decided to write her instead of just ignoring it, because now everyone benefits from my ranting. :D
And thank you to everyone who agreed with me or wrote the blog speaking their minds as well. :) It means a lot!
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you can read Part 1 and Part 2.
Soooooo, I got into some more e-drama from speaking my mind again.
Yesterday, I decided to ask the owner why she likes to own a site that starts so much drama. It was just out of curiosity. LOL, I honestly wasn’t trying to start a fight (as usual. I never try to start arguments. This is the internet and I do have a life).
i think it’s interesting how we feel the need to “define” ourselves. why do we need to be a certain way or act a certain way?
it’s crazy how we, as teenagers and young adults, go through this period of “finding ourselves” by trying new things and attempting to fit into certain molds.
and i’ll admit that i’m also in the process of “finding myself”… except i have a hard time with deciding whether or not i’m figuring out who i really am or if i’m just going through life. i basically just do what makes me feel comfortable. i know what i like and i know what i don’t like. it freaks me out because i think there might be more to myself that i haven’t found yet.
i don’t know, all of this psychological stuff is just really confusing when you’re young.
